The Magnus Lectures are delivered annually at the Department of Mathematics in honor of Dr. Arne Magnus, our colleague and friend for 25 years. The Department invites outstanding researchers and expositors to the campus to deliver a series of lectures at a range of levels for the campus, the College, and our Department.

We have been very fortunate to have developed in a short time an excellent tradition emphasizing the dissemination of world-class mathematics to a variety of audiences.

The Arne Magnus Lecture Fund was established in 1992 as a memorial to Dr. Arne Magnus. Contributions to the Magnus Fund are greatly appreciated and may be made through the CSU Foundation. Please donate online:]

All lectures are free and open to the public.
