Title: Serving Unimodality Two Ways
Speaker: Joseph Pappe
Abstract: In this talk I will introduce the notion of unimodality and will survey several techniques from algebra, analysis, and combinatorics used in proving some of these results. This talk is meant to be introductory and also serve as an open invitation to others for possible collaborations.
