What do 1) counting curves in the projective plane with tangency conditions along to a line and a conic; 2) counting disks in affine 3-space meeting a Lagrangian and 3) counting curves in the local Calabi-Yau fourfold geometry determined by the projective plane have in common? It turns out, quite a bit. This is joint work with Pierrick Bousseau and Andrea Brini.
