Our Tutors

Elissa Pitts

My name is Elissa Pitts and I grew up in and now live in Fort Collins, Colorado. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in math and computer science from the Colorado School of Mines in 1995 and went on to get my master’s degree in math at Colorado State University. I started teaching calculus in 1995 while I was getting my master’s degree and realized that I really loved teaching. I then went on to get my teaching license through CSU in 1998. I have taught all levels of math at Poudre High School in Fort Collins for the past 24 years. I also have taught online Calculus 1 classes through Front Range Community College for the past two years.

Richard Dean

I am currently in my 11th year of teaching high school math. I am teaching over at Rocky Mountain High School. I am eager to help students out with precalculus and hopefully convince them that it is not some old process, but a beautiful language that helps you solve many different problems.
